Lee Ridge is a small community in south-east Edmonton, within Mill Woods, named in honour of Robert Lee, former Edmonton mayor from 1909-1910. The community’s boundaries are found at 66 Street to the east, Mill Woods Road to the west, 38 Avenue to the north, and 34 Avenue to the south. Millbourne Road East bisects Lee Ridge and offers residents a number of bus routes. Lee Ridge was originally developed in the 1970s, and is made up of around 40% single-family detached homes, and more than 50% higher-density housing units such as row-housing, low-rise apartments and condos, and complexes of duplexes. The population is 2,712, with Lee Ridge residents split between homeowners and renters.

66 Street provides Lee Ridge residents with easy access to many industrial employment areas throughout southern and eastern Edmonton to the north, and the business and amenities around Mill Woods Town Centre to the south. Two LRT stations along the east edge of Lee Ridge are scheduled to open in 2020. Lee Ridge is one of four communities that comprise the Millbourne Community, which is served by the large Millbourne Market Mall, located centrally between these four communities. Along with the Milbourne Mall, which offers Safeway, Petro-Canada, Shoppers Drug Mart, multiple restaurants, banks and numerous other food, stores, services and more, residents have a short drive to Mill Woods Town Centre. Many further commercial amenities can be found nearby at South Edmonton Common. The Grey Nuns Community Hospital is easily accessible in the neighbouring community of Tawa south of 34 Avenue. Lee Ridge was designed with a number of strategically placed walkways to promote easy pedestrian and bicycle travel within the community. The Lee Ridge Park, located central-north, offers a baseball diamond, soccer fields, a playground, various other sports fields and the community's only school; Lee Ridge School.
