Keswick is a developing community in far south-west Edmonton, within the Windermere area. Keswick's boundaries are found at Ellerslie Road and Hiller Road to the north, 170 Street to the east, 28 Avenue SW to the south, and the North Saskatchewan River to the west. The community began development in the 2010s, and is continuing today. Roughly 85% of the real estate here is made up of single-family detached homes, with the remaining made up of duplexes. Some further mid- to higher-density development is planned later in the community's timeline, though the primary use of the community will remain lower-density residential. The population at the 2016 census was 589, with the vast majority of Keswick residents being homeowners.
Keswick's location allows easy access across south and west Edmonton via the nearby Anthony Henday Drive ring road, and the nearby Calgary Trail also provides a quick commute to Nisku, Leduc, and the Edmonton International Airport. Many commercial amenities are found nearby, including Currents at Windermere, located a little north-east of Keswick. Here, you'll find a Walmart, Safeway, London Drugs, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Cabelas, Staples, a VIP Cineplex Odeon, as well as further stores, services, banks, eateries, and more. South Edmonton Common is also located nearby. Extensive green space exists and is planned within Keswick, including ponds, multi-use trails, and several park areas. The adjacent North Saskatchewan River valley, forming the western boundary of the community, provides further recreational opportunities. Three golf courses are also in the area. Dr. Margaret-Ann Armour School, Constable Dan Woodall School and St. John XXIII Catholic School are in adjacent communities, while a school is planned within Keswick itself.
