Jamieson Place was developed beginning through the 1980s and continuing into the 2000s, and a little more than 90% of Jamieson Place is made up of single-family detached homes. The remainder is made up of scattered duplexes and townhouses. The population of Jamieson Place is 3,369, and the majority of the residents are homeowners.
Jamieson Place’s location allows easy access to the nearby West Edmonton Mall and many other parts of west and south Edmonton via the Anthony Henday Drive ring road. Many commercial amenities, besides those at West Edmonton Mall, can be found across 178 Street at The Marketplace at Callingwood. Here, you’ll find a Safeway, Liquor Depot, Shoppers Drug Mart, a farmer’s market, convenience, food, banks, and numerous other stores and services.
