Decoteau is a large area plan in far south-east Edmonton, which will eventually be broken into smaller communities as it is developed. As it develops, connections to the rest of the city are provided by the Anthony Henday Drive ring road to the north and Calgary Trail to the west, accessible via Ellerslie Road and 41 Avenue SW. This provides easy access to Nisku, Leduc, and the Edmonton International Airport. 50 Street, at the west of Decoteau, provides a quick commute to Beaumont.
