This community is nestled north of Stony Plain Rd, the fast exit from Edmonton to point west, and the Industrial parks to the north, and all west of 148th Street. This conmmunity includes the neighbourhoods of Mayfield, High Park, Britannia, Youngstown, and Canora. The lots here are smaller than usual, but well landscaped and the homes are well-constructed.

SCHOOLS
These communities have five public elementary schools and two Catholic elementary schools. The Public Board's secondary school on its southern edge, and the Separate School's high school just to the east.

SHOPPING
The local shopping mall is Mayfield Common with its larger discount retailers. Retailing in the area is dominated by West Edmonton Mall to the south.

RECREATION
There is an outdoor pool just south of 107th Ave. The riverside recreational pathways are accessible from a ravine in the south east corner of the community. The Mayfield Inn, on the western edge of the community is home to Edmonton's longest running dinner theatre. There are three multiplex cinemas in the West Edmonton Mall, a mile to the south.
